Job Description

Due to further expansion, a Stone based manufacturing company is seeking an Order Processing Administrator to join its distribution team. The is a full-time role working Monday to Friday 9am5pm with an hours lunch and offers a competitive salary of£23,000 per annum, 28 days annual leave including bank holidays, and ongoing training opportunities. As the Order Processing Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • Receipt and processing of sales orders and purchase orders.
  • Ensuring transport is booked where required.
  • Liaising with customers on the phone and by email in a fast paced environment.
  • Ensuring all duties relating to administration, customer and supplier queries are carried out accurately and in a timely manner.
The successful Order Processing Administrator will have the following skills and experience:
  • Good communicational and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Well organized with the ability to multitask, adapt to change and work to high standards whilst meeting strict deadlines.
  • Able to work on own initiative and unsupervised.
  • Familiarity using a computer and Microsoft Windows is essential.
  • Previous experience working in a logistics or customer service environment would be a distinct advantage.
