Job Description

WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOUWestray Recruitment Group are seeking a Shift Maintenance Engineer for our client based in Stokesley. This is a temporary contract which is ongoing and there is a possibility of transferring to permanent. The company are offering £20.69 per hour on a 42-hourweek (£45,190 per annum), working days & nights continental shift pattern.THE BUSINESSOur client is a leading brand within their sector. The role will be working on site at their high-volume manufacturing plant. This is a successful business looking to add to their team. A great company which promotes a modern working ethos.THE ROLE

  • To prioritise maintenance of plant and equipment as necessary to ensure the effective running of the production facility.
  • To take direct responsibility for fault diagnosis, rectification and modification of production plant and machinery.
  • To respond quickly and effectively to plant and machinery breakdowns
  • To read layout, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical drawings.
  • To develop and adhere to the site PPM programme, implementing and recommending improvements
  • To support the successful introduction of new manufacturing equipment and services.
  • To operate panel vision driven equipment.

  • Time served Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer
  • Demonstrate adequate knowledge of
  • Maintenance management systems
  • Quality
  • H&S
  • Food safety
  • Machine operation
  • Cleaning
  • Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
  • FMCG experience *desirable*
THE PACKAGE The successful candidate will be working on an hourly rate of £20.69.
