Job Description

RESTAURANT FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER - STOKESLEYUp to £27,000 per annum + company benefits and day time shifts onlyWe are delighted to have been asked to recruit for this position, for an established and successful company that continues to trade well in the current climate.The Front of House Manager we are looking for will have a quality food led background, exceptional customer service skills and a real eye for detailThe restaurant is quick service in style and the food is all fresh with a morning breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea offer. All delivered with attentive service putting the customer experience at the heart of everything they do.It is a busy operation so you will also need some volume experience.A massive bonus is that it is a day time only operation, so you will have a great work life balance.ROLE - RESTAURANT FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGERAs the Restaurant Front of House Manager you will:Set up and maintain the front of house and counters each day to our company standards

    • Presenting menus, serving, and helping customers select food and beverage by offering suggestions
    • Providing Counter Service and preparing beverages including barista bean to cup coffee.
    • Deliver Chef prepared meals to customers at their tables
    • Preparing restaurant tables with special attention to hygiene and cleanliness
    • Processing payment at electronic till points
    • Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed
    • Closing front of house areas each day to company standards
ATTRIBUTES - RESTAURANT FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER
    • Experience at either Assistant Manager or Manager of a branded or independent restaurant or cafe
    • Friendly, with an engaging personality and a genuine love for customer service.
    • Barista experience preferred but not essential as full training will be given
    • Strong customer service skills.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Great teamwork.
    • Hardworking
    • Shift flexibility including weekends.
    • The ability to work well and efficiently under pressure.
