Brief Description of Role (i.e. purpose of role) Specialist knowledge and skills to support the QSSHE department function within the business operation. Support the QSSHE manager and development in role to advance skills and knowledge with a view for internal progression within the department.Key Activities & ResponsibilitiesKey Activity 1 - Project(s) - Global DeploymentCollaborate and collate relevant local and international standards and accreditations.Identify and report on global core procedures and policies, ensure deployment of these through the regional offices and ensure local considerations and differences are accounted for.(On completion the next project would be assigned)Key Activity 2 - InvestigationUtilising the ERP EVT System, investigate, identify root cause, analyse non-conformances, incidents and internal EVTS, prepare CAPA reports when required.Engage the continual improvement culture with all colleagues and suppliersKey Activity 3 - Quality, Safety, Security, Health & EnvironmentResponsible for ones own, co-workers and stakeholders health, safety and quality. First Aider, Mental Health First Aider & Fire Warden responsibilities across the Stokesley offices.Key Activity 4 - ISO14001 Assist in the development of the supporting policies, procedures and systems for the ISO14001 StandardSelection Criteria Qualifications, Skills and KnowledgeIOSH / NEBOSHRelevant industry training - DGSA, ADR, IMDGInvestigation and analysis techniquesExperiencePrevious logistics backgroundPrevious Tank Container industryPrevious QSSHE role experienceKnowledge of ISO Standards, particularly 9001, 14001, 22000CompetenciesEffective communicator, both internally and externallyConducting risk assessmentsConducting internal and external auditsReport writingPersonal Attributes & other requirementsWilling to travel and occasionally work unsocial hoursFlexible in approach, consider the wider pictureKPIs Project delivery (OTIF)Investigation close out and report timescale (5 days)Reduction in company experienced repeat internal EVTs.Typical Problem Areas Faced in RoleCultural buy in from all staff.Complex time critical thinking and solution design required.
