Key Activities & ResponsibilitiesKey Activity 1 - Quality, Safety, Security, Health & EnvironmentResponsible for ones own, co-workers and stakeholders health, safety and quality. First Aider, Mental Health First Aider & Fire Warden responsibilities across the Stokesley offices. Ensure stock of required PPE to ensure employees safety whilst on off sitevisits.Key Activity 2 - AdministrationEnsure that all documents, policies and procedures are valid and up to date and filed accordingly within the QMS. Assist the QSSHE Manager from an administrative perspective across all areas required within the departmentKey Activity 3 - Supplier ApprovalResponsible for setting up new suppliers across all modes of transport and depot activities. Collecting necessary information & documentation from all suppliers and ensuring the matrices are kept fully updated and live. Ensure the organisation are always awareof the up to date list. Ensure maintenance of said matrices is carried out on a regular periodic basis. Highlight concerns at an early stage within the process to the management teamKey Activity 4 - Risk AssessmentsResponsible for internal, office-based RAs along with external RAs associated with all aspects of the business. Ensure maintenance of said RAs is carried out on a regular periodic basis. Highlight concerns at an early stage within the process to the managementteamKey Activity 5 - Safety Team & SecurityChair the safety team meetings on a regular periodic basis and ensure the full security of both buildings.Selection Criteria *Essential/DesirableQualifications, Skills and Knowledge E/D*Reasonable level of Maths and English DCompetent in the use of I.T. system, outlook, excel etc. DSome Geographical knowledge DExperiencePrevious roles in QSSHE or within logistics industry DExperience of managing a range of tasks in a prioritised structure DCompetenciesAn ability to work well under pressure DCommunicate with various departments to achieve common goals DConsistently accurate and a keen eye for detail EPersonal Attributes & other requirementsCalm under pressure DExcellent team player demonstrating loyalty and commitment to the organisation and team members E
