Job Description

Finance ManagerResponsible for overseeing all financial activities, developing all necessary policies and procedures to ensure a sound financial management of the group of businesses; analysing data to increase profitability.Duties

  • Prepare, implement, and review financial strategies, budgets, forecasts, plans, policies, and procedures
  • Training, motivating, and managing accounts team
  • Preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounts and reports
  • Analysing data, KPIs, reporting to each department and the Board on financial performance
  • Working with all areas of the business to increase profitability
  • Responsible for the accounts package and the reliability of the data and the data flow
  • Overseeing payroll
  • Managing internal controls, conduct internal audits and minimising risks to the business.
  • Monitoring and reporting on accounts inconsistencies
  • Overseeing audits, VAT and tax obligations, complying with all compliance and regulations
  • Keep up to date with financial policies, practises, and regulations
  • Evaluate overall capital expenditures, assets, ROI
  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
  • Manage relationships with customers/suppliers/staff.
Skills & Experience
  • Qualified accountant
  • Understanding of business functions
  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
  • Outstanding organisational and leadership abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Aptitude in decision making and problem solving
  • Sound IT skills including use of Excel, Power BI and Accounts software such as Xero
