Job Description

Electrical Engineer GraduateLocation Remote, Any Area UK, UK Wide Travel InvolvedSalary: £28,000 - £35,000 plus carRoom for progressionElectrical Engineer Degree or Certificate recently graduated/QualifiedJob Type: Permanent Category: Electrical Engineering,We are currently recruiting a recently qualified proactive and methodical Electrical Project Engineer to support the implementation of Installation projects, aligned to Critical power, and other electrical installations, ensuring all aspects are deliveredsafely and compliantly, minimise downtime and come in on time, in budget and to the required quality standards.You’ll work closely with the Senior Engineering team to fulfil the project lifecycle - interpreting project specifications, liaising with contractors to develop solutions, reading technical drawings to prepare costed proposals, co-ordinating equipment orders& deliveries, following project plans and validating project outcomes for sign-off, eventually taking responsibility for your own projects.The CandidateRecently Graduated Electrical Engineer/ Degree, other CertificationStrong communication skills (written and spoken English), able to liaise with stakeholders of all levels, and write concise reports.Good IT skills - including Microsoft Office; experience of MS Project, AutoCAD and other project management tools would be useful.Works in a proactive and methodical manner with a good eye for detail - knows the right questions to ask to gain clarity in sometimes unclear situations.Flexibility to work outside standard working hours occasionally to support projects and be willing to travel throughout the UK.A good understanding of Energy saving philosophies ie.

  1. Voltage reduction
  2. Power Factor correction
An understanding of the various electrical components and how they relate to voltage reduction and associated Power savings from a clients utility Bill.
  1. Lighting
  2. VSDs
  3. Motors
  4. HVAC
  5. Resistive Loads
An ability to analyse data from Power analyser software and to extract and display the data in a way that is understandable.Ability to present to findings to clients.
  1. Maximum Demand
  2. Minimum, Maximum and average takeouts from various extracted components ie voltage, current, power factor, Harmonics etc
Able to install a data logger onto a live switchboard with appropriate PPEDriving License.Understand installation requirements for new equipment into existing servicesBased in Manchester however a large part will be visiting premises of potential clients throughout the UK performing surveys and when necessary installing and removing data loggers.*Excellent Opportunity For The Right Candidate** Dont Delay Apply Now*
