Earthing Design Engineer Bristol/Hybrid working £55,000 plus package A market leading Renewable Energy ICP who specialises in Solar and Battery Storage projects are expanding due to a huge increase in pipeline. My client is based in Bristol is looking for an Earthing Engineer to work in the office full time, reporting into the Design Manager. The Earthing Engineer will be working on earthing designs on behalf of the Company and will involve projects ranging from LVto 132kV. It will involve working as part of a team to deliver the projects from inception to completion.Responsibilities;* Work on earthing designs from LV up to 132kV using CDEGS* Request to the Customer/DNO/EPC team the required information to complete the design* Plan and carry out site work including: * Soil resistivity testing* FOP measurements (DC and AC)* Touch voltage measurements* Commissioning* Assessment of existing sites* Interpretation of soil resistivity data along with available geotechnical reports and derivation of a representative soil model* Issue earthing reports* Notify the team of any layout changes required for the earthing to be cost-effective* Identify the need of any additional site work/design work* Follow all published guidelines, standards, policies and procedures, from national and international standards to DNO policies, to ensure satisfactory delivery of work
