Our client are a popular group of Garden Centres in Surrey and are currently looking for a Chef for their on site cafe in Cobham, Surrey.They are looking for an enthusiastic team player who will thrive in this fast-paced Café Bar that serves high quality, freshly prepared food.The successful Chef must ideally have catering experience in a retail environment and be able to work well in a busy environment. Previous experience and qualifications in managing food hygiene/safety is essential.Chef Key Competences: *Ensure all food produced is off good quality and well presented*Ensure that all food is stored to the companys standards and HACCP guidelines*Ensure all food produced is of acceptable quality/temperature*Ensure all temperature checks are carried out and correctly recorded*Ensure food/stock is correctly stored and rotate*Accurately complete food safety diary, on a daily basis*Produce all food recipes to specification and company guidelines*Strictly adhere to all relevant food safety and hygiene regulations at all times*Lead the kitchen team This Chef position offers the benefits of daytime shifts - no late nights, a competitive salary and free parking onsite.
