MTrecs New Opportunity;MTrec Technical are proudly representing our prestigious manufacturing client, based in Stockton. MTrec Technical are proudly representing our prestigious manufacturing client, based in Stockton. We are supporting our client with their need for internalgrowth within their maintenance department, by recruiting a permanent Injection Moulding Toolmaker/Die Maintenance Technician to join their team. A successful candidate will be working a 3-shift system, Monday to Friday, and will be responsible for manufacturing,repair and calibration of various tools.   • Support Safety Checks and Improvement activities as required.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance according to schedule and documented procedure.
  • Carry out repairs with the objective of preventing re-occurrence and improving tool robustness
  • Maintain tool work records and complete necessary Toolroom documentation.
  • Support the improvement and maintenance of 5S standards.
  • Carry out root cause analysis when appropriate to ensure robustness of corrective actions and repairs.
  • With mould tool experience and traditional bench-fitting skills.
  • Operating various machinery and equipment to manufacturing new tool, as well as repairing existing tools.
About You;
  • Experience as a time served Toolmaker.
  • City & Guilds Toolmaker and/or ONC Mechanical Engineering.
  • Previous experience working within a Toolmaker/Die Maintenance Technician position or similar.
  • Capability to work under own supervision.
  • Cross functional department working.
  • Previous injection moulding experience.
