Your MissionIn this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in identifying opportunities and markets, assessing all possibilities for business growth. Your responsibilities will include contributing to and implementing business development strategies that align withkey business goals. By developing new relationships and maintaining high-level contacts with current clients and project partners, you will be at the forefront of expanding our clients reach.You will assess risks with potential business opportunities, ensuring the companys interests are always protected. Representing our client at events and functions, youll showcase the companys capabilities and services. Your role involves delivering compellingpresentations to prospective clients, preparing monthly progress reports for the directors, and visiting project sites to meet with clients and report on performances.Collaborating closely with the Managing Director, youll ensure all marketing materials reflect the companys goals and values, sharing market intelligence across the team. Your involvement in the tender process, from receipt to presentation of proposalsto clients, will be crucial in securing new projects and partnerships.Key Competencies:
  • A relevant degree in Construction, Engineering, or substantial experience within the Electrical Construction industry.
  • Experience working for an Electrical Contractor is advantageous.
  • Proven Business Development experience at a senior level, with a strong commercial and technical background.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the UK Construction industry.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to lead a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
Offer DetailsSalary: £55,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience) + Car Allowance, Pension, and an exceptional Bonus Scheme.Location: This position offers a dynamic working environment, with a need to visit project sites and represent the company at various events and functions.
