Job Description

REED Business Support are currently recruiting for an amazing client who is actively looking for a fantastic Logistics Manager to join their business ASAP.Monday-Friday09:00 - 17:00Main Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsible transport and exportation of the planning, coordination and management of standardised Containers and Vendor managed stores
  • Plan, coordinate and arrange most cost-efficient distribution and Transport & Exportation movements between storage locations and project sites
  • Responsible for coordination of restocking of standardised Transport & Exportation containers at all storage locations
  • Raise purchase orders in SAP and expedite deliveries for direct spend
  • Maintain stock data in SAP system incl. accurate availability forecast and cost allocation of project logistics, maintenance and repair cost of Transport & Exportation.
  • Support issuance of risk assessments and method statements for critical on-site operations
  • Participate in Sales/Operations handover meetingsensuring all critical information is identified, recorded & distributed to relevant personnel and all supporting functions are engaged
  • Proactively support solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high level of quality and service within budgetary requirements to achieve project requirements and the business objectives
    • Experience and Knowledge Required
  • Experience in Logistics and Stores management, preferably in an international service industry with knowledge of industry practices & standards
  • Experience in stores management and equipment maintenance
  • Comprehensive experience in SAP
  • Supplier management experience
  • Experience in facility management beneficial
