THE COMPANYA Heavy Manufacturing Facility, based in Stockton on Tees are looking to recruit a Shot Blaster to join their team on a temp to perm basis.THE ROLEAs a Shot Blaster, you will be responsible for shot blasting various metals and heavy fabrications and operate the overhead cranes. Undertaking heavy physical labour, you will also complete any associated paper work and ensure you are operating in a safe efficient manner.THE ROLE REQUIREMENTSThis role will suit someone who is physically active and who is able to work within a Heavy Engineering Environment. Applicants must hold literacy skills and strong communication skills.THE SALARYThe position pays £8.72 for days and £10.02 for backs. There is also overtime with this role paid at enhanced rates time & 1/3 during the week, time & ½ Saturday and double time Sunday.THE CONTRACTThis is an ongoing position and is currently operating on a 2 shift system days (6am-2pm), backs (2pm-10pm)THE POINT OF CONTACTPlease contact Joe Rowan on or at Required skills
