Job Description

Linthorpe Beds are an award winning independent family run business. We currently employ 35 staff, have a multi-million pound turnover and have been judged as 2020 Bed retailer of the year’ by an independent panel of furniture trade magazine editors.We have served our customers for more than 30 years and have grown into one of the most respected names in the industry via our 3 North East stores and more latterly, our nationwide website.Based at our Stockton on Tees offices, we are looking for a dynamic individual with a high level of problem-solving skills and analytical thinking. You must possess a strong understanding of SEO and the use of PPC advertising. In the role of SEO & PPC Specialist, you will independently oversee and complete specific projects, including landing page copywriting and running Google Ads campaigns. Creativity and attention to detail are crucial traits.You will also be expected to do website administration tasks, such as updating product listings, prices and product images.Job Duties

  • Writing copy for product and category pages, as well as improving existing page content to target additional keywords.
  • Tracking and improving search engine rankings for landing pages.
  • Identifying new keywords based on demand, competition and relevance to our product range.
  • Creating and monitoring Google Ads campaigns.
  • Identifying trends and compiling statistics from Google Analytics.
  • Working with bloggers and related businesses on sponsored outreach posts.
  • Maintaining our Facebook & social media accounts.
    • Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or other qualification relating to e-commerce.
  • Experience in using Content Management Systems.
  • Can write engaging content which is accurate, along with the use of impeccable grammar.
  • A deep understanding of Google Analytics.
  • Comfortable with using Google Search Console and Keyword Planner.
  • Understands the various criteria relating to SEO, not limited to just page content.
    • Preferred Experience/Skills
  • HTML/CSS and the implementation of landing pages.
  • Previous employment within a similar role (not essential).
  • Use of SEMrush
  • Link building, campaigns using link vendors
