Job Description

Are you an experienced and qualified accountant looking for a new challenge Do you want to join a thriving accountancy practice that offers a range of services to a diverse client base If so, I have an exciting opportunity for you!My client is a well-established and reputable accountancy firm based in Teesside, with a team of friendly and professional staff. We provide accounting, tax, audit, and advisory services to a variety of sectors, including retail, hospitality, construction,and technology.As aSenior Accountant you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, and management accounts, as well as providing business advice and guidance to your clients. You will also supervise and mentor junior staff andassist the partners with business development activities.To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • At least 3 years of experience in a practice environment
  • Excellent technical knowledge and skills in accounting standards, tax legislation, and audit methodology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceeding client expectations
