Job Description

Semiconductor Operator - Semiconductors - Sedgefield - IM3250Salary / benefits: Competitive dependent upon experienceJob Term: Permanent / Full TimeJob Outline:A leading developer of semiconductor devices is now looking for an additional Operator to join their small team of Technicians and Engineers in Sedgefield.Working in the Cleanroom you will be providing support to the Process Technicians and Engineers, to develop new processes.Working with the Test Engineering Teams you will learn how to test the reliability of the devices.Other duties will include carrying out quality non-conformance investigations; developing and carrying out process checks; and inputting data in to the reporting software.This is an exciting time to join a small but growing company, with potential to progress further in Process Engineering in the future.Qualifications:Ideally you will hold an HND / HNC level, or higher, in a Physics, Science, or Electronics subject, and have experience working in semiconductor cleanrooms.Experience:You should have experience in semiconductor device fabrication processes such as photolithography, deposition, sputtering, wet etch, dry etch, patterning.Ideally you will have gained experience in a manufacturing environment, although candidates who have worked in academic cleanrooms will also be considered.Additional Information:Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK.
