Job Description

Receptionist / Administrator, Salary: £27,982 + 25 days holiday + bank holidays + excellent benefits, Based: Stockton-on-TeesWe have an opportunity for a Receptionist / Administrator to join a dynamic and market leading business in the construction hire sector in their head office. We are keen to hear from candidates with front of house reception and administration experience.Receptionist Administrator Main Tasks:

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in a professional manner.
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material.
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed (e.g., filing, photocopying, data entry).
  • Support Sales.
Experience and Personal Characteristics:
  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role
  • Excellent admin skills with Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Customer service-oriented mindset
