We are currently looking for a temporary Purchase Ledger Assistant to cover Maternity Leave until May 2022 for a Vehicle Rental company based in the Portrack Area of Stockton On Tees;The job holder will assist with the day to day functions of the Purchase Ledger DepartmentThe job holder reports to the Purchase Ledger Supervisor on all personnel issues and has responsibility for the following: -2.1 Input purchase ledger invoices, credit notes, debit notes etc onto the computer system.2.2 Checking content of Purchase Invoices imported through OCR System - Yooz.2.3 Matching supplier invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes.2.4 Approving for payment authorised invoices, credit notes, debit notes etc2.5 Reconciliations of suppliers balances with suppliers statements.2.6 Ensuring that the supplier queries are progressed to resolution on a timely basis.2.7 Generally, assist and support the Purchase Ledger Team as required with commercial, accounting and administration matters.You will work Monday to Friday 35 hours per week
