Job Description

Job Title: People Business PartnerLocation: Stockton-on-TeesSalary: £40,000 - £50,000PermanentFull-timeWe are looking for People Business Partner to join a global engineering company located in Stockton-on-Tees.This is a great opportunity to join a company with high values and a commitment to creating a more sustainable world.The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, and implementing Human Resources (People) functions. Managing the function in a smaller location or as part of a larger team reporting to the People Director within a larger location.Youll be:

  • Identify and define issues, collaborating where needed and providing empathetic and solution based consultative advice.
  • An Operational Manager ensuring alignment for your area with broader organisational initiative and objectives.
  • Making decisions for selection, training, discipline and renumeration of staff.
  • Leading and implementing organisational project changes.
  • Assigning programme work and policy framework.
  • Effectively communicating and presenting complex proposals and reports to senior level management.
Youll have:
  • Supervisory, project management or technical experience.
  • A participative management style with a cooperative team approach.
  • Posses an understanding of business strategies, culture, and work to achieve results and able to execute work beyond the scope of individual function.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and develop tactical plans for implementing organisational goals and oversee the design of new concepts and ideas related to projects and the function.
