MTrec’s New Opportunity;MTrec Technical are proudly representing our prestigious manufacturing client, based in Stockton-on-Tees, by recruiting a new NPI Quality Engineer, to join their growing team. A successful candidate will be responsible for preparing all relevant qualitydocumentation for PPAP, ISIR, testing or any customer specified requirements and also generate all internal documents necessary for a smooth launch into volume production. Development of any gauging requirements and measurement techniques.If you are an experienced NPI Quality Engineer, with a background in Automotive/Injection Moulding experience and looking for your next career move, apply now for an immediate response!The Job You’ll Do;
  • Manage multiple NPI projects simultaneously.
  • Front line liaison with customers at all stages of the NPI process.
  • Create, control and submit all APQP documentation.
  • Liaise with suppliers and customers to ensure all APQP requirements are met.
  • Complete IMDS.
  • Take part in site visits - tooling, suppliers and customers.
  • Take part in all relevant internal and external NPI meetings.
  • Create gauge concepts - liaise with gauge maker to ensure gauges are available for applicable trials and are validate
About You;
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Minimum HNC level education.
  • Project management skills.
  • APQP experience.
  • Computer skills.
  • Ability to read, translate and feedback on drawings (GD&T).
  • Willingness to travel in line with duties.
  • Must possess a full driving licence.
