They take immense pride in their unwavering commitment to innovation, precision, and customer satisfaction.As part of their ambitious expansion plans, they are actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manual Machinist to join their exceptional team.Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Manual Vertical & Horizontal Boring machines with precision.
  • Proficiency in setting up and operating Manual Colchester Lathes.
  • Execute Manual Screw Cutting with utmost precision and accuracy.
  • Skilfully read and interpret engineering drawings to craft top-notch parts and components.
  • Utilize overhead cranes, lifts & slings, abrasive wheels, and 4-jaw chucks (comprehensive training will be provided).
  • Work with various materials while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with colleagues and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Manual Machinist, with a robust background in operating and setting up manual boring & turning machines.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with working with overhead cranes, lifts & slings, abrasive wheels, and 4-jaw chucks (training provided as necessary).
  • Sound knowledge of various materials and their machining requirements.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a steadfast commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A deep understanding of health and safety best practices.
