Are you looking to take your career to the next step But you want stability and job security The staff love working here, your predecessor has been there for 12 years and will be at hand to show you the ropes. After all, it has been her baby, and she is now the Financial Controller. This role will not give you the progression to be the Financial Controller, however it WILL give you personal development for you to gain experience and, in time, take on more responsibility within a stable, secure company and the chance to move to be ManagementAccountant if this is your desire. You will spend 2-3 days on site away from the office and will be able to take ownership of one of the companys accounts, working closely with the management team. You will also be offered study support if you are working towards your ACCA or CIMA qualification. You will be strong, dynamic and able to work on your own initiative. You are not afraid to question a process or offer your ideas which have worked for you previously. You will have experience dealing with multiple company accounts as part of a group. Although this is not essential but would be an advantage. You will have excellent communication skills and are able to build good, strong working relationships with your colleagues. You may be part-qualified, newly qualified or working towards your AAT level 4. Youll be confident with preparing monthly management accounts, VAT reconciliations and returns. If you do not have the full experience of all of these, do not worry you can assist and learn. Along with processing purchase invoices, reconciling daily bankingand dealing with any discrepancies you may find.
