A successful candidate will be responsible for a broad range of duties and responsibilities, such as maintaining and repairing a vast range of machines, robots, ancillary equipment and buildings.If you are an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician, looking for your next long-term career move, apply now for an immediate response! Thekey requirements of having a multi-skilled technical/maintenance background is essential.The Job Youll Do;
  • Reactive, preventative and predictive maintenance on plant and equipment to ensure production downtime is minimal.
  • Fault diagnosis, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic equipment.
  • Use CMMS to plan work and record completed work.
  • Support in the installation of new plant and equipment.
  • Contribute to the safety of the workplace as detailed in the employee handbook.
  • Reporting spares and consumables requirements within the department.
  • Reporting any known issues which could contribute to plant or equipment failure.
  • Ensuring clear communication is maintained across all departments.
  • Maintaining your work area in a clean, organised and safe condition.
About You;
  • Time-served or otherwise qualified mechanical, electrical, multi-skilled technician.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment or experience in a similar field in the Armed Forces - REME, Royal Navy or RAF.
  • Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic control systems.
  • Knowledge of mechanical fitting.
  • Fault finding / diagnostic skills.
  • Able to read electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings.
  • Good communication skills
  • Confident and calm under pressure.
