Our client, an award winning, printing and media marketing specialist, are looking to recruit a Large Format Printer for their manufacturing site in Teesside.Working across four main market sectors, Education, Automotive, Retail and Hospitality, they create highly personalised award-winning multi-channel marketing campaigns as well as printed work in most formats which is often data driven.This is a fast moving, highly innovative business that incorporates creative design, digital development, digital, litho, screen, direct to garment and large format print as well as in-house mailing facilities.Role of a Large Format Printer:The role involves setting and operating Vutek and Mimaki print machines and Kongsberg Digital Cutters as well as operating other large format equipment, the role is working triple shifts and we have an annualised hours scheme in place.Responsibilities of a Large Format Printer:Setting and operating the digital pressesEnsure all jobs completed to a high standard and completed on timeMaintenance of the equipmentDeputising and training temporary labour during peak busy monthsOrdering of materialsSkillsExperience of working in a large format business would be a distinct advantage, however, full training from the manufacturer can be arrangedHigh level of attention to detail and quality conscientiousExcellent communication skillsOrganised, methodical, flexible and can do attitudeHours of WorkTriple Shift Pattern on a weekly rotation (Earlies and Lates are Monday to Friday, Nights are Monday to Thursday). In addition we operate an annualised hours contract which gives 8 extra days holiday swapped for 8 extra shifts worked between October andDecemberLocationJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: Up to £24,400 for working triple shifts, plus overtime rate & 22 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
