Job Description

Our client is an established financial services business, with modern, unique offices and they are currently seeking an IT Support Technician to join their team. You will play an essential role in ensuring excellent business outcomes from the perspective of IT efficiency and accuracy. If you are looking for a role that will allow for long term development andgrowth, then this could be the opportunity you have been seeking!Duties:

  • Monitor the performance of IT systems and cloud-based IT
  • Troubleshooting and resolving IT, Network and Phone system issues
  • Maintenance and provision of new hardware, data back-ups and disaster recovery
  • Continuously seek ways to improve the IT function
  • Companywide process administration
  • Manage third party IT suppliers and understand the principles of MPLS and Ubiquiti Networks
  • Maintain cloud printer environment through Xerox MFDs and PaperCut
Skills:
  • Experience in IT support and Microsoft Packages
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, security, networks, data storage and phone systems
  • A well organised and trusted individual with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Financial experience (preferred)
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and rapport building skills
  • Relevant degree in IT or related field (desirable)
Within this role you will be taking ownership of the companies IT processes, so it is vital that you are responsible, flexible and driven by accuracy. The opportunity will be working 37 hours per week (Monday-Friday). The successful candidate will receivea salary between £21k-£28k depending on experience, plus company benefits.Apply Today!
