Job Description

We aretrusted by leading organisations to deliver successful transformation programmes that address their most complex and critical business challenges.The day jobWere looking for an HR Administrator to join our growing team in our People Hub. Your role will be working within our Life Cycle team to administer comprehensive, timely and accurate HR data for the whole of Sopra Steria whilst building strong workingrelationships with business Managers and key personnel. Youll provide a customer focused service which supports the long term vision of the People Hub and ensure all HR Administration is completed in an agreed format to a required standard.Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing new starters on the system and issuing appropriate Terms and Conditions
  • Checking and processing Employment Change Forms and issuing confirmation letters and/or amendments to Terms and Conditions of employment if required
  • Processing leavers on the system
  • Monitoring employees on maternity leave, ensuring maternity leave/pay starts at the correct time, issuing letters regarding return from maternity leave
  • Issuing reference requests for new employees and completing employment reference requests
  • Monitoring return of contracts and referee information
  • Create new starter files, ensuring all employees files are up to date and filing completed on a regular basis
  • Provide administrative support to the Employee Relations team
  • Run required audit reports in accordance with the Audit Governance for People Administration
  • Provide cover to the HR Customer Services Team as and when necessary
Essential skills:You need to have:
  • Strong administration experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • At least intermediate standard in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
  • Ability to handle large volumes of work with multiple demands
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work unsupervised
  • Positive approach to customer service
  • Be proactive in service delivery and show improvements to systems
It would be great if you had:
  • Knowledge of HR administration procedures or previous HR experience
