We are working with one of the leading care providers in the UK and are looking for a passionate Deputy Manager to join their leadership team.About UsOur client provides residential and nursing care services to the elderly across the UK. Each care home is an extended family, bringing together residents and their loved ones, their colleagues in care, clinicians, hairdressers, commissioners and CQC regulators,members of the local community - the list goes on.Their dementia care homes have qualified, dedicated staff who help people to maintain the identity and dignity of their residents. With a focus on living life to the fullest, their homes offer activities suchas hairdressing salons, bars, cinemas, gardening, and cooking courses to name just a few!The RoleOur client is looking for people who are experienced in senior positions within a nursing care setting and are familiar with regulations and legislation. It is beneficial but not essential to be skilled in budgeting andadministration.Closely supporting the Registered Home Manager, the Deputy Home Manager is responsible for promoting, managing and co-ordinating care plans, and the successful individual will play a pivotal role in the team leadership. Part of this role will be to support in devising rotas, oversee training and conducting supervisions, you will be a key part delivering a wonderful service to our residents.The successful candidate will -

  • Have a minimum of a Level 4 NVQ in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) and have, or be willing, to work towards the Leadership and Management Award.
  • Hold an NMC (Nursing and Midwifery) certificate with an active PIN.
  • Experience of working in the health care sector.
  • Be driven, motivated and believe in quality of care.
  • Possess strong leadership and management qualities whilst taking on a dynamic and flexible approach to the role.
