Job Description

My client is looking for a Customer Service Representative on a part time basis working Tuesday & Wednesday 9am to 5pm. To be great in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate a strong customer service background, a drive to deliver results, and going above and beyond for customers.Duties:

  • Precise order capture and conversion to delivery; covering both manual entry and EDI.
  • Review stock availability to meet orders, identify issues and undertake appropriate actions.
  • Export & Shipping Documentation
  • Accurate and timely processing of all credit and debit notes.
  • Resolve customer queries and respond efficiently to information requests
  • Building effective relationships with customers and other Tata business functions, principally Commercial Account Managers, Finance and Manufacturing.
  • Daily contact with Customers & 3rd Party Logistics Suppliers
  • Monitoring the third party delivery performance process to ensure all agreed criteria is adhered to.
  • To be great at this job you will need:

  • Capable of prioritising workload and use own initiative
  • Strong communication & commercial skills
  • Computer literate, knowledge of SAP would be a distinct advantage
  • Able to work and co-operate within the team, encouraging a sense of shared purpose
  • Able to adapt to changing requirements and remain calm under pressure
  • Numerate, methodical and detail conscious
  • Capable of taking ownership of issues and following them through to resolution.
  • A pro-active approach to problem solving
