My Client is well established, industry leading Engineering company. Based in Stockton-On-Tees, they have seen year on year success, with further growth plans for 2021/22. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a CNC Machinist to join their team on a Permanent basis.This opportunity gives a CNC Machinist the chance to work with one of the most respected companies in the North-East. They offer not only an excellent package, but more importantly in todays world, job security.The CNC Machinist role will be to cover either a 2-shift pattern 6am-2pm / 2pm-10:00pm Monday to Friday or a day shift 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-3:30pm Friday.CNC Machinists primary responsibility is to manufacture quality parts.CNC Machinists Main Duties:
  • Set & operate CNC Machines with Fanuc controls
  • Setting tools & producing components
  • Loading/unloading of CNC machine tools and fixtures
  • Ability to select, set and change tools
  • Working on highly technical products to tight tolerances
  • Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and policy
  • Complete necessary daily documents
CNC Machinists Role Requirements:
  • Must be Time Served
  • Excellent communication
  • Good Engineering Background
  • Ability to set and operate at the Machine Control
  • Ability to inspect own work
  • Knowledge of Fanuc
  • Manual Turning experience
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Ability to work to fine tolerances
  • Flexibility with regards to shifts and over-time
