Our client, an electricity distribution company based in Stockton are looking to recruit an Assistant Land Officer (Wayleaves) who will be responsible for meeting landowners, attending sites, producing new legal agreements, dealing with property queries and managing existing records and consents.The position is for an initial 6 month probationary period, with an option to transfer to a full-time position with the company; if the candidate is successful in demonstrating their competence.The role serves both internal and external customers and responds to multiple enquiries each day. Enquiries relate to land and property issues arising from our 60,000+ grantors, solicitors and other external agencies.The position sits between the office-based Clerical Assistants and our field-based Wayleave Officers. The roles require someone who is happy to work out in the field approximately 3 days per week or as the role dictate.As an Assistant Land Officer (Wayleaves) you can expect to receive an hourly rate of £11.67.Roles & Responsibilities:The Assistant Wayleave Officer will complete a range of low-complexity customer-facing work such as grantor and property changes, payment re-assessments, substation access reviews, boundary and tenure enquiries, simple damage claims and arranging access for maintenance works.
