This position will commence January 2021 and run until the end of the academic year. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary between £125-185 per day which will reflect your suitability and experience. This curriculum stimulates curiosity amongst children and has wide-ranging opportunities which allow for creative, innovative teaching styles.The successful candidate will:- Be an outstanding teacher with the drive and capacity to really thrive in this role as a Year 4 Class Teacher- Have secure subject knowledge of the Year 4 curriculum and have a strong understanding of the KS2 transitions- Be able to implement a range of teaching, learning and behaviour management strategies and know how to use them effectively to achieve desired outcomes- Be able to prepare and plan well resourced lessons to meet individual needs and requirements- Build a positive rapport with all children based on trust and mutual respect and create a class community where pupils take ownership and accountability for their learning- Be resilient, hard-working, solution focused and wholeheartedly committed to transforming student outcomes- Plan targeted interventions to bridge learning gaps across the core subjects- Have a clear understanding of age related expectations and differentiate accordingly to both scaffold and stretch learners- Analyse data to determine where/what to revisit, reteach and seamlessly integrate this into the termly planning without disrupting the pace/curriculum coverage.- Commit to the broad extra-curricular programme offered by the school which operates on a rotational basis.The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment.
