This company is a leading financial services provider in their specialist field. Employing over 500 staff in their three offices in Stockport, they provide consumer and commercial services for over 150 clients in the UK across key financial sectors. Working in an accredited (ISO27001, ISO9001) and regulated (FCA, PCI) environment, they manage over 1 million active accounts at any one time.They are looking for an experienced VB.net and Micro Focus Cobol developer to work in small team, developing and supporting their in house CRM system.. As well as planning and running development projects, the successful candidate will help deploy software solutions into the testing and operational environments. The successful candidate will develop the capability to support and analyse issues in test and live environments.In addition to this, it would be advantageous to have a working knowledge of T-SQL, but not essential as training would be given.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence and improve the CRM system, as well as work on other development projects.The role is available at 40-50k (depending on experience).You will be office based in Stockport (following government guidelines you may be asked to work from home, due to COVID19). The working hours will be 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday with occasional out of hours support required.
