Well Established Independent Travel Agency in the Stockport area, is seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to work in their branch team to create bespoke itineraries for the regular, repeat and referred clientele. This Travel Consultant role is Monday- Friday only, so if you are a Travel Agent who loves travel but is keen to move away from weekend work, then this could be your dream role. This would suit a Travel Consultant with experience of tailor-making, or of working in a Tour Operator with a greatall round worldwide knowledge. Salary is dependent on experience but above average for the Travel Industry.JOB DESCRIPTION:- Creating a wide variety of luxury itineraries to Worldwide destinations by tailor-making- Liaising with clients over the phone, offering exceptional customer service and attention to detail- Itineraries could include; luxury hotel stays, beach holidays, twin centres and excursions- Converting enquiries to bookings, and following up to ensure the itinerary runs smoothly- Building rapport, and building your client base with repeat business and referrals- Office hours 09:00-5:30pm Mon-Fri - NO WEEKEND WORK- This client will offer part time hours (4 days if needed)EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:The successful candidate will already have travel industry experience, preferably from a tour operator due to the bespoke nature of the itineraries arranged.
