Job Description

Senior Software Programme Manager - Permanent Remote WorkingWe are working with our UK based key account who have a brand new vacancy for a Senior Software Programme Manager to work remotely from home on a Full Time, Permanent basis. However, you will be expected to go on site for strategic/customer meetings on an ad-hoc basis. Their site is based in Stockport. Our client are a leading software company in engineering solutions throughoutthe Logistics Industry. They are market leaders in the delivery of business critical software systems.Senior Software Programme Manager Responsibilities:

  • You will be expected to work together with our clients end customer, translating their operational requirements into a solution that can be effectively delivered using their proven product set.
  • SW Product that our client use is an Automation Software that goes into warehouses and sits on a robot. It instructs the robot to pick products off of shelves in the warehouse and then packages these items for our clients customers.
  • You will hold responsibility for the commercial and functional aspects of the solution delivered to our clients end customer.
  • Projects typically involve trips to the end customers site, and potentially periods on site during the critical project stages.
Senior Software Programme Manager Requirements:
  • Experience of managing an engineering project - software biased project (electronics software - not IT).
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
  • Willingness to travel
  • Driving licence.
