Job Description

Regulatory Affairs ManagerStockportc£30,000+ (dependent on experience)Permanent roleWe are working with a worldwide manufacturer and supplier of agrochemical products who are looking for a Regulatory Affairs Manager to join their team in Stockport.The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for building a team to monitor product compliance and regulatory affairs focusing on product safety and testing, Country of Origin (COO) marking, size conversion, and accuracy of product descriptionused in all our global markets.What youll do:

  • Research and deliver global regulatory provisions for international markets to ensure legal product compliance and communicating this to cross-functional teams ensuring complete understanding.
  • Maintain the companys Safety Data Sheet (SDS) system and make sure that raw material information and SDSs are kept up to date and compliant.
  • Carry out and complete customer quality questionnaires and handle and resolve any complaints in a timely manner.
  • Keeping up to date (and in some cases training) internal and external stakeholders on regulatory policies, procedures, product and labelling requirements.
  • Check all imports & exports are compliant with relevant national and international regulations, including Biocidal, GHS/CLP, REACh and UK & EU Cosmetic regulations
  • Review product registrations and certification on a planned basis with the Managing Director and Technical Consultant
  • Anticipate, communicate, and handle regulatory changes with respect to existing regulations that may impact existing product lines, new product introduction and business growth.
Your background:The ideal candidate will have a recognised degree or qualification in related product testing or regulatory affairs and extensive work experience in a similar role for an internationally accredited company. You will be up to date and knowledgeable on globaltesting standards, product labelling and advertising laws and able to make balanced decisions based on technical data, knowledge, and sound judgment. The ability to think strategically, take direction and formulate improvement plans is important in this role,as well as excellent all-around communication and negotiation skills.On this occasion LiCa Scientific is acting as an employment agency.
