The employer is a small family run business with over 28 years combined experience in the events industry. They are proud to hold conferences, summits and dinners for a wide range of companies. Their aim is to bring together senior teams in the public and private sector to deliver change. They use their extensive experience in public sector events management to provide high level accredited days that not only provide invaluable networking opportunities but exposure to high ranking government speakers and sponsored exhibition sessions too. The events result in technical and practical debate through keynote presentations. Our contributors include UK and foreign ministers, senior civil servants and private sector experts and academics discussing the latest initiatives and projects along with case studies and comments on best practice. The Team: They are a small but growing company with 6 full time employees and 7 part time company affiliates that help support with data collection, delegate campaigns and logistics. Between our full-time staff and company affiliates we can offer all new starters complete support from multiple skill sets. Your duties: Create engaging content for different platforms (email campaigns, website, articles, blogs, press releases, printed marketing materials) Be willing to improve your knowledge of the industry Be able to work to KPIs set by the Company Director Events-Coordinating (training provided): Planning and managing the delivery of a wide range of events Preparing event material - invitations/name badges/place cards Liaising with internal staff and external contacts Responsible for attendance, guest list, travel and accommodation Supporting on the day event running (registration desk, speaker & sponsor support) In return, the company will provide: A competitive salary (18-21k, dependent on experience)Vibrant working environment20 days holiday + bank holidays Ongoing training Opportunity to gain experience and develop yourself in other areas of the business Quarterly work outings (dependent on targets) Experience needed: Experience creating and reviewing customer-facing user materials. Quality-oriented with experience producing high-quality user documentation, ensuring appropriate use of language, grammar and graphics. Previous events experience is necessary. Experience of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Access and PDF creation on Adobe Suite. Basic knowledge of digital marketing channels (SEO, social media, content marketing, email and PPC). Ability to collaborate with customers, development teams and product owners.
