This full-time class teacher role beginning January 2021 and will run until the end of the academic year. This school will welcome applications from NQTs as well as more experienced teachers and with the school being larger than the average size, there is the potential of a permanent opportunity depending upon your success in the role. As the Year 3 teacher, your responsibilities will be but not limited to:*Undertake full class teaching responsibilities for a Year 3 class and comply with behaviour management and safeguarding and assessment policies.*Complete detailed plans that align with the curriculum content but allow for creativity within the classroom.*Differentiate learning to both scaffold and stretch learners appropriately allowing all pupils to reach their potential*Review, record and report on pupil performance analysing data to determine both progression and regression to inform future planning*Plan targeted interventions in literacy and numeracy to bridge gaps in learning and accelerate pupil progress*Use ICT accordingly to keep up-to-date with modern teaching and learning approaches and liaise with the STEM teacher making use of cross-curricular opportunities to enhance learning*Contribute to the broad range of extra-curricular activities and attend wider school eventsThis is an exciting opportunity to join a highly popular school and work alongside a hard-working, driven team of staff.
