Job Description

Payroll AssistantStockportOffice BasedNewly Created RoleClient DetailsAn excellent opportunity has arisen with a leading Facilities Management business based in Luxury brand new offices in Central Stockport due to continued growth and expansion. This company have made a number of recent acquisitions and are expanding theirPayroll team as a result. They are looking to growth further over the next 12 months meaning there will be opportunities for career progression and development.DescriptionThe Payroll Assistant is mainly office based in Stockport and will report into the Payroll Manager working as part of a team. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing starter & leavers, ensuring all statutory deductions and third-party payments are made.
  • Processing and updating company T&A systems
  • Process payroll for all staff using Payrite and Sage systems.
  • Distribution of correspondence to employees (Pay slips, P11ds, P60s).
  • Ensure compliance in line with HMRC requirements.
  • Compile monthly and yearly reports.
  • Assist with reconciliation of expenses.
ProfileIn order to apply for the role you should:
  • Have some previous Payroll Administration experience
  • Be able to commute full time to Stockport office
  • Be looking to join a growing company with opportunities for career progression
