Loan Kit Co-ordinator Role & Healthroster AssistantJob title: Loan Kit Co-ordinator Role & Healthroster AssistantWorking for: Stockport NHS Foundation TrustDepartmental base: Theatres - Surgery, GI & Critical CareAccountable to: Orthopaedic Band 7 SisterLinda TidburyContract: Band 3Part time (job share considered)Working relationshipsThe post involves working closely with all key members of the Theatres Team to ensure all patients receive a consistent and effective service:

  • Waiting List Officers & Secretaries
  • Non-Medical & Medical Theatre Staff including Trauma Nurses
  • Consultants
  • HSDU Sterilisation Services
  • External Companies, their Representatives & Couriers
  • Finance including Creditor Payments
  • Procurement & Supplies Teams
  • Tasks and responsibilitiesThe duties and responsibilities listed below are not intended to be exhaustive but are set to indicate the main areas of activity expected of the post holder, who will be expected to adopt a flexible approach when the needs of the service require under the guidance of the Surgery, GI & Critical Care Team. The post holder will be responsible and accountable for their practice and behaviour under the guidance of an orthopaedic Band 7 sister.The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and promote safeguarding by implementing the Trust’s policies and procedures, acting promptly on concerns, communicating effectively and sharing information appropriately.If successful, this vacancy will require an standard DBS check at a cost of £26.50. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary.
