General Manager / Operations Manager - ProductionSalary: CompetitiveLocation: Greater ManchesterSeize the opportunity to lead as a General Manager / Operations Manager in our dynamic production environment. This pivotal role focuses on managing component production across diverse areas such as Shutter Manufacturing, Injection Moulding, Press Shop,Paint Line, Extrusion, and Automated Assembly. Youll not only oversee these departments but also be instrumental in managing Sub-Assembly, Quality Control, and Warehouse operations. Ideal for those with a passion for operational efficiency and a knack forseamless order management in a factory setting.Skills required for General Manager / Operations Manager - Production:

  • Extensive experience in managing production processes, especially in Extrusion or Injection Moulding.
  • Strong organizational skills to coordinate day-to-day operations and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Expertise in quality control, production planning, and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
  • Proven ability to recruit, supervise, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Proficiency in handling technical queries, customer complaints, and liaising across departments.
  • Solid understanding and enforcement of Health & Safety policies.
  • Budget management capabilities, particularly in procurement and inventory control.
  • Skills in identifying training needs, monitoring machine and staff efficiencies, and implementing Lean Manufacturing principles
