Job Description

A fantastic permanent opportunity for a full time Finance Junior Analyst based in Hazel Grove Stockpot with flexible hybrid home working available.Open to juniors and also finance graduates/AAT studiers looking to build experience.Client DetailsWorking for a highly successful, steadily growing and supportive organisation with on the job training.DescriptionThe duties include:

  • Collaborate with the data analytics team to gather requirements and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Assist in data collection, cleansing, transformation, and preparation to ensure accurate and reliable data for analysis.
  • Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive informed business decisions.
  • Develop data visualisations and reports that effectively communicate key findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into actionable data-driven solutions.
  • Assist in the maintennce and optimisation of existing Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring data integrity and performance.
  • Support the development and implementation of data governance and data quality standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, functionalities, and best practices, and recommend innovative approaches for data visualisation and analysis.
  • Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to ensure seamless data integration and connectivity between various systems and sources.
ProfileThe successful candidate MUST:
  • Have experience using Excel, Pivot Tables and VLookUps - Essential
  • Be a graduate or studying AAT - Essential
  • Have a genuine interest in analysis and an aptitude for numbers - Essential
  • Be highly organised with strong attention to detail - Essential
  • Have excellent communication skills - Essential
