JOB AD:Electronic and Mechanical Assembly Technicians / FittersLocation: StockportDuration: 12-month ContractStart date: ASAPINSIDE IR35A client based in Stockport is searching for several Electronic and Mechanical Assembly Technicians / Fitters. This is for an initial 12-month contract.The candidate will need to be SC ClearedHours: 37-hour week. The site operates a 4 day a week at 9.25 hours per day. Standard hours are as below.Monday - 07.30 to 17.55Tuesday - 07.30 to 17.55Wednesday - 07.30 to 17.55Thursday - 07.30 to 17.55Candidates can start at 06:30 to suit their needs if required.Candidates are required to take a 30 minute unpaid break Overtime will be reviewed and requested as and when the need arises.The Elec/Mech Fitters will work alongside Technicians to produce on time and to quality electrical assemblies. Required for safety critical and harsh environments used above and below water.Electronic and Mechanical Assembly Technicians / Fitters duties typically consist of:Cutting, crimping, sleeving of cable.General soldering (small electronic components).Producing wiring harnessesGeneral wiring / looming or panel wiring.Modular build of cabinets / building electrical assemblies.Fiber Optics (Desirable)All of the above IAW IPC/WHMA-A- 620D, IPC-610 H and J-STD-001-CISThe candidate will need to be:Able to interpret drawings and wiring diagrams.Experienced PC users (Microsoft outlook, word & Excel).Able to lift without restriction of weights up to 30kg.Health and safety compliantCOSHH aware.The siteOnsite CanteenFree parking
