Job Description

Role: Building Fabric TechnicianLocations: West Yorkshire, Humberside, South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Stockport/Cheshire.Salary: £28,500 pa (37.5 hour working week) plus On-call and overtimeMultitask Personnel are working with an award winning, long standing Mechanical and Electrical company covering design, install, testing and maintenance. We are working alongside them to recruit Building Fabric Technician on a permanent contract.Duties:

  • Provide Building Fabric Maintenance across a range of disciplines and across multiple sites & sectors
  • Deliver Planned, Reactive and Installation works in both internal and external areas to include but not limited to: -
Building; Roof leaks, gutter & gulleys, Brickwork, Flooring, Car Park surfacingFabric; Internal cladding, wall tiling, doors, protection works, signage, carpentry, plastering, glazing, painting & decoratingJoinery; Doors, panels, architraves, locks, handles, decking, fames, windowsPlumbing & Drainage; Toilets, sinks, drainage, sanitary units, leaking taps & washersEssential:
  • NVQ Level 2 General Building Operations or similar qualification (level 2 Diploma in Construction Skills Bench or Joinery)
  • A valid and up to date CSCS
  • Previous experience in Building Maintenance or Shopfitting
  • Ability to repair and maintain a range of equipment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
