Spring Engineering have an opening with our client just south of Manchester for an experienced Bench Fitter on a permanent basis.You will be required to perform in-house bench fitting operations and techniques - working hours day shift Monday to Thursday 07:00 - 16:00, Friday 07:00 to 13:00.Ideal applicants will have gained experience with a relevant apprenticeship.Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnderstanding Quality procedures including route sheetsStamping procedures ie: Traceability of componentsBasic grinding on abrasive wheelsUse of measuring equipmentRead engineering drawings & Geometric TolerancesMaintaining and promoting Health and Safety proceduresMaintenance of equipmentCompetenciesAccuracy and attention to detailGood communication skillsFlexible and adaptable to changeProblem solvingAccountabilities and Performance MeasuresEnsure good housekeeping Highly motivatedAbility to work unsupervised on own initiative QualificationsKnowledge of hand tools & air toolsAbility to read and understand Engineering drawings and specificationsExperience in a similar roleEngineering Apprenticeship preferred but not essentialPlease apply on-line with up to date CVSpring Engineering Solutions (a trading name of Roevin Management Services Limited) acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
