Are you an experienced Lead/Senior Electronics Design Engineer looking for your next challengeDo you want to work with an organisation that is developing medical devices which will transform the healthcare industryBe-IT is currently working with a ground-breaking medical technology and manufacturing company. This global organisation is looking to bring on a Lead Electronics Design Engineer who will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to members of the electronics engineering team. You will oversee the day to day technical activities performed by other members of the hardware team and assist the electronics design manager in assigning work tasks to relevant team members.The role is remote for now but once its safe,this role will be office based. Can work from the Stirling or Motherwell site.To be successful in this role you will be expected to manage, lead, support and develop teams ensuring that each team member’s role, tasks and timelines for delivery are clearly defined and communicated.You will also be required to manage budget responsibility.You should have the following experience: a degree in Electronics Engineering or similar; product design and development experience of complex embedded systems; experience of technical leadership of electronics engineering teams; strong technical knowledge of electronics engineering, both tools and processes; experience measuring and reporting quality-related metrics, schematic and PCB layout design packages and electronics simulation packages and experience working with C/C++ or any other modern programming language.It’s a bonus if you have the following: experience in producing product for high volume manufacture; experience of building working relationships with external parties and knowledge of regulatory standards including EN60601, EN61010, ISO13485 and ISO14971.Sounds like you and interested in learning moreApply now or call Alasdair Walker from Be-IT.
