Salary: 24KLocation commutable from: Kettering, Milton Keynes, Northampton, PeterboroughThe Profile:The successful IT Support Specialist will have a computer science qualification or relevant IT background. The role will suite a graduate or a candidate with a couple of years work experience in IT development work. This is a great opportunity for an induvialto join an organisation who will invest in the candidates for the future.A full clean driving license and access to own transport is a must as there will be some travelling to our sister site required.The Role:As the IT Support Specialist, you will be located within a manufacturing business supporting both development work and any 1st line and second line support issues for the organisation. At least once a week the It Support/development specialistwill work at another site where they will work closely with the Financial Director to with business development support activesThe person will be expected to work with ERP specific tools (training will be given) to include; Database extract and data load tools Report browser creation tools Output document creation tools UI experience optimisation toolsOther requirements; Knowledge of EDI Able to support users with Microsoft office and other day to day queries SQL database knowledgeCharacteristics & Skills; Good communication skills both written and verbal Analytical thinking & problem solving skills Inquisitive Well structure and organised Quick learner Attention to detail An agent for change Approachable, warm, friendly characterDesirable skills; Knowledge of programmingThe Company: In return you will be part of a successful manufacturing company, focusing on a wide range of products.
