My client was founded in 1982 and is a pioneering company that specialises in the research, development and manufacture of highly effective animal health products. They are the market leader in trace element supplementation for livestock. They have experienced continued growth and are now seeking a Graduate Manufacturing Scheduler / Buyer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate with a Business Management / Manufacturing-based / CIPS qualification to join an organisation that will offer the support and training to develop yourself into a dual role and enable you to grow and develop within the organisation. Primarily, your role would be to schedule work through the factory together with the procurement of manufacturing raw materials and packaging. You would also support the production management in various aspects of production planning as well as supporting the organisations efficiency programme and have a strong focus on continuous improvement.Full training will be provided for the right person. Essentially what you will need is the right attitude and a dedication to wanting to develop your skills and experience in a technical role. you will also be maintaining spreadsheets on Excel so would need to be intermediate to expert. The use of macros / VBAs is not required, however using and understanding formulas is essential. The formulas are varied and some are complex. Ideally you will also have good experience of Sage (preferably 200 Manufacturing but could work with Line 50).You will need to have your own transport as my client is based in a remote location that is not accessible by public transport. This will be a full time, permanent position paying a competitive salry for the current marketplace. Your working hours will be Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm with a 30 minute lunch break and 2 x 15 minute breaks. This position also comes with a number of benefits including annual leave, company pension, paid leave and Christmas off, employee assistance programme and more. If this position sounds of interest and you feel that you have the relevant experience then please apply with your latest CV or call Gerry to discuss further.
