Job Description

About the role:We have a secondment position for an Area Services Co-ordinator. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for providing specialist technical support to Performance Managers across an area, to ensure that they are compliant, and they meet specific operational and regulatory requirements. To be responsible for Controller of premises duties.Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide technical support to Performance Managers and Technical Coordinators to meet operational performance and customer service targets
  • To manage any facility-related issues, liaising with the appropriate people.
  • To support our work as being a good neighbour in the local communities where we are based. You will work to update the odour management plans and track audit actions.
  • Assist in the management of 3rd party framework suppliers to undertake critical maintenance in the field on key assets such as Generation, screens, flowmeters ensuring work is undertaken in accordance with task specifications/standards
  • Health and Safety
  • To support a culture of behavioural safety in your area and ensure that the health, safety and wellbeing of employees and other affected persons is a top priority.
  • To be responsible for the Controller of Premises activities.
  • Assist/lead field activities such as supervising contractors on-site as appropriate, reviewing contractor risk assessments, issuing of permits.
  • Take responsibility for safe working practices which comply with company procedures including SOM, Health and Safety legislation, and other related issues.
  • Conduct SHE inspections.
  • Spotting and reporting hazards and near misses in a timely manner
  • To be successful you will have the following skills and experience
  • Good IT skills;
  • 5 x GCSE’s or equivalent
  • IOSH
  • A broad range of H&S skills, ideally a strong working knowledge and H&S legislation and application including Controller of premises
  • Good communication skills
  • Report writing skills
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of the operation of maintenance and mechanical and electrical assets
  • A willingness and ability to travel- need to hold a full driving license
  • A facilities background would be desirable.
