Job Description

Waking Night - Care & Support WorkerAs a frontline Care & Support Assistant, you will be required to support older people in a supported living environment. You will be responsible for checking on tenant’s well-being on a regular basis dependent on their individual needs and carry-out various support tasks. The tenants live independently, and you will be onsite to support with their as and when needs.The main tasksfor a Waking Night Care & Support Worker are: -

  • Respond to tenant emergencies
  • Implement and monitor care and support pans
  • Support with any personal care required
  • Support with any food preparation if required
  • Support with building community spirit in the supported living flats
  • Liaise where appropriate with outside agencies
  • Supporting the tenants with any welfare benefits required
  • As a care organisation the benefits offered are: -
  • A competitive annual salary of £10.15p/h
  • Working 37.5 hours per week
  • Fixed two week rota

  • Hold an NVQ level 2 or extensive experience in a supported living setting
  • Previous experience in health and social care
