Job Description

Support Worker- Stanmore, LondonHourly rate- £8.91 per hourLooking for day shifts only Look no further. This role would be working day shifts between 7am-10pm with no expectation to do waking nights or sleep in shifts.Are you looking to join a small and friendly team of Support Workers We support people with learning disabilities and autism as well as people who may have additional physical, mental health and behaviour support needs. Our service aims to provide personcentred support which caters for the individual needs of the people we support.We are looking for permanent or relief Support staff.Our teams strive towards increasing the skills and independence of people receiving support as well as supporting individuals to socialise with family and friends, take care of healthand personal care needs .Due to the pandemic some of their favourite activitiesare limited but we would be looking to join these again when its safe to do so.These activities include college and community based courses, art and cookery classes, visiting local amenities, pubs, cinema and any other educational and leisure based activitiespeople are interested in trying. Throughout lockdown some activities such as reflexology and music sessions take placewithin their own home and like many the people we support have enjoyed going out for their daily walk.We encourage flexible working and welcome staff from different career backgroundswith varying skills.If you think this is the right role for you, come and make a difference to peoples lives, every working day.Your rewards
